Terms & Conditions for Publication of Results

Merit Scholarship Test (MST)–2026, held on: 04 July 2026 at : Babu Dinesh Singh University. • Organized by: Babu Dinesh Singh University, Farathiya, Garhwa

1. Provisional Nature of Result

The published result is purely provisional and subject to verification of candidates' records, eligibility, and supporting documents.

2. Right to Correct Errors

The University reserves the right to rectify any typographical, clerical, computational, technical, or inadvertent error(s) in the result, merit list, score, or scholarship category at any stage, even after publication.

3. Automatic Scholarship Entitlement

Apart from Top three (3) candidates, the Management of the University has decided to offer 5% discount in Tuition Fee ONLY to all the appearing candidates. Award of scholarship shall be subject to fulfilment of all eligibility criteria, document verification, seat availability, and approval by the competent authority.

4. Verification of Documents

All the eligible candidates, who are interested to avail this benefit, are requested to contact Admission Dept. of Babu Dinesh Singh University on or before 15th July’2026.

Candidates must produce original documents whenever required. If any information furnished by a candidate is found to be false, misleading, fabricated, or suppressed, the candidature and scholarship shall be cancelled without prior notice.

5. Discrepancy in Result

In case a candidate notices any discrepancy relating to personal details, marks, score, ranking, category, or any other aspect of the published result, a written representation along with supporting documents must be submitted to the University within 07 (Seven) days from the date of publication of the result. No claim shall ordinarily be entertained thereafter.

6. Finality of Records

The University shall verify the original records and database maintained by the Examination Cell. The records maintained by the University shall be treated as final for determination of the result.

7. Preparation of Merit List

The merit list has been prepared on the basis of the evaluation process approved by the University. In case of any tie in scores, the tie-breaking criteria prescribed by the University shall apply.

8. Cancellation of Scholarship

The scholarship may be withdrawn or cancelled if:

  • the candidate is found ineligible;
  • incorrect information or forged documents are submitted;
  • admission is cancelled for any reason;
  • any violation of University rules is established.

9. No Claim for Compensation

The University shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damages arising out of correction, modification, withdrawal, cancellation, or revision of the published result due to genuine administrative or technical reasons.

10. Result Revision

If any discrepancy is detected during scrutiny, re-verification, audit, or document verification, the University reserves the right to revise the published result and merit list without assigning any reason.

11. Decision of the University

In all matters relating to the Merit Scholarship Test, evaluation, preparation of merit list, correction of discrepancies, eligibility, scholarship award, interpretation of these terms, and settlement of disputes, the decision of the University shall be final and binding on all candidates.

12. Jurisdiction

Any legal dispute arising out of the Merit Scholarship Test or publication of the result shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at Garhwa, Jharkhand only.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By appearing in the Merit Scholarship Test, every candidate shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions and agreed to abide by the rules, regulations, and decisions of the University.

While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the published results, inadvertent errors may occur. The University reserves the right to amend, modify, correct, or withdraw any part of the published result or merit list at any time if any discrepancy or error is detected. The University shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from such corrections made in good faith.
